Do you have passion for transformation and change? In this Position Legal practice acting both in labor consultancy and litigation, as well as in drafting of contracts in general. Main responsibilities: The Lawyer operates with limited supervision, and therefore requires a high level of balanced judgment and an ability to independently discern and establish priorities.
Agility and willingness to learn about various subject matters (both from a legal and business perspective) are highly valued. Ability to identify potential legal issues (focusing on business units initiatives) as well as proposed solutions to mitigate labor risk is required; Report directly to the legal manager, working in labor litigation in the process of defining the legal strategy, examination and looking for evidence, such as documents and witnesses, preparatory meetings, monitoring of expert reports/technical inspection and review of the thesis and pleadings in general; Working in partnership with the external Law Firms in the supervision and conduct of the lawsuits; Validate the lawsuits on going, as well as to analyze court decision (the impact and reflection of this decision in the other cases) and to verify the advisability of appeal by company's internal system; Validate the risk assessment for contingency purposes for all phases of the lawsuits, not only review of the labor calculation, but also, ensuring that all calculations are in accordance with the company's contingency criteria; Ensuring that all process and procedures (internal system) are in accordance with the internal control and SOX requirements. Acting in the labor advisory answering labor questions/legal opinions, identifying risks, provided mitigation solutions, developing action plan(s) and training; Work in closely collaboration with other areas, providing legal opinions, answering internal questions, providing to internal customer service focused in labor issues/relations. Manage the review and negotiation of certain contracts and amendments relating to the relevant business units and support functions. The candidate must be flexible enough to manage multiple subject matter issues across diverse areas of the company, taking the initiative to identify appropriate subject matter experts and coordinating overall review. Professional Skills: Meets local legal license requirements (OAB).
