Position DescriptionThe Sales Manager will be responsible for direct sales and supporting channel partners for different verticals, focused on Finance, Telco and Retail to execute sales development plans to ultimately meet and exceed an aggressive booking target, and ensuring successful and broad deployment of Nuance products across the territory.Principal Duties and Responsibilities ? List 6-12 essential responsibilities/duties of the position.Named Account penetration, account planning and opportunity management.Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI.Consistently achieving assigned booking goals on a quarterly and annual basis.Working in full partnership with Nuance?s partners in the region and with the broad Microsoft team.Developing a solid pipeline of major account opportunities where Nuance products will be deployed across the assigned Territory.Developing relationships within the accounts to assist in gaining ?mind share? as it relates to sales and marketing programs.Brazil and possibility to extend into other Latin America countries. Target markets to focus on:
Telcos, Retail, Utilities and preferably with experience selling into BPOs, and Government Institutions. Selling entire Nuance Enterprise portfolio.Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with Nuance products.Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
BS technical degree or equivalent10+ years of above quota sales experience as a Regional Sales Manager (Individual Contributor)Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externallyFluent (and in business setting) in Portuguese & English. Spanish a desirable plus.Enterprise sales experience with and actionable rolodex of decision makersExperience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel centric go to market approach.Number of Years of Work Experience:
10+ years
**Required Skills**:
Direct Enterprise Software selling experience to large enterprises companies in Latam.Hunter mentality and resourceful creating own leads and pipeline within existing customers.Very comfortable in the ?C? suite with a track record of closing software licensing and PS dealsStrong executive presenceForecasting commitments and forecasting accuracyExceptional management, interpersonal, written and presentation skills.Able to work independently.Use CRM systems (Sales Force)





extensively.Track record of success and knowledge with prospects and customers in the defined territorySolution and Consultative Selling SkillsStrong business development sales experience. Ability to effectively present technical information to a non-technical audienceAbility to confront, address and negotiate difficult situations in a diplomatic and tactful manner.Able to prioritize and manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.Experience, selling complex, large-scale projects to the large Enterprise and effective territory development and execution.Preferred Skills:
