The MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning) team leads and supports teams to monitor, evaluate and identify learning and course-correction in CDP's delivery of impact objectives; owns CDP's Global Impact Results Framework (GIRF), and oversees CDP's effectiveness research agenda This role will lead on strengthen MEL processes, capacity and quality across CDP.
The role will develop MEL processes,





tools and guidance for CDP staff and deliver MEL training to relevant staff across the organization, with a particular focus on project, grant and organizational procedure management.
Who you are Must reside and be eligible to work in the locations stipulated above.
Project Management: The ability to apply project management principles to key MEL deliverables to ensure effective delivery Coordination and Collaboration: The ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with others to ensure the effective delivery of MEL projects MEL Tools and Frameworks: Comfortable developing and supporting others to develop Theories of Change, Results Frameworks and MEL Plans Evaluation: Able to apply to OECD-DAC criteria to lead or support others with evaluations Qualitative Data Collection and Analysis:





The ability to design and conduct qualitative data collection and analysis Analytical Thinking: The ability to use both quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify evidence-led findings and propose recommendations Facilitation: The ability to effectively design and facilitate workshops and trainings Your day-to-day Lead on the organizational MEL Capacity Building program through a combination of tools, guidance and training Own and develop the MEL Project Cycle Handbook, Guidance and Templates Own and develop the MEL Product Handbook, Guidance and Templates Design and deliver ongoing MEL training for relevant CDP staff Support the Development team to embed CDP's Theory of Change and Results Framework in proposals Support project/grant/product managers to design and report on Results Frameworks, MEL Plans, Reflection Workshops and Reviews and Evaluations Lead MEL reporting for identified high priority projects Manage research projects on an ad-hoc basis that deliver against CDP's Research Strategy Produce, manage and provide expertise for evaluations Produce case studies to gather evidence and assess the effectiveness of CDP's Theory of Change and its Use Cases Please note that we do not conduct phone screens and utilize screening questions in each of our processes.
